The Blaa
A blaa is a soft, doughy white roll dusted heavily in flour, made only in and around Waterford in the south east of Ireland. It holds EU Protected Geographical Indication status, so a true blaa comes from nowhere else.
Honest Bread lists 2 bakers across the UK and Ireland known for the blaa, each baking from scratch with no additives. Waterford, Ireland. Protected Geographical Indication (PGI).
